lets dance a little jig
i know what someone will be thinking when he reads the title of this post. GO SLAP YOURSELF! haha.
ok anyway, im really happy right now, i dont know why! maybe its because for the first time in a long time i was able to plonk in front of the tv and stone for a couple of hours. i guess tv watching in moderation can be qt fun la haha. when one is in a stony mood, E! (the ultimate rubbish brainless channel) is the perfect solution :D
had set myself an objective of examining 5 patients today, which is not tt much (to some people....im looking pointedly at mumu right now) but i only did 3 haha. but its still like 3 times more then i normally do so all is still fine and dandy. then went to ATTEMPT to participate in H5N1 vaccine trial. was psyched up to do it after earning $30 for 5mls of blood yst (yesyes i know... selling myself blahblah but guess what. if someone offered tt to u u would do it too!) so we went down to the clinical research trials unit at cgh (or rather, up) and waited and did physical exam and filled in forms for like an hour, and i even gave a urine sample and discovered tt my blood pressure is REALLY LOW......and when the needle was just about to go in to draw blood, we realised tt..... IM NOT YET 21 AND THEREFORE NOT ELLIGIBLE!!!!! argh. so anal la. no more $605 for me!!!!boohoo. ok nvm im getting a nice treat so i will not complain haha.
other fun stuff done today:
1) physical exams! haha. ok la qt fun i guess...and like im trying to teach suzanna, if u tell urself its fun after a while it WILL be fun :)
2) get pushed around the basement lift lobby in one of the wheelchairs they leave there for patients and getting the tokyo drift feeling heh... oh the anonomity the lack of a lab coat and tag brings.
3) finally being able to drive above 90km/h!!!! WOOHOO haha. smell my dust!
4) laughing with marc at bryan who is across the aisle and infuriating him cos he doesnt know what we are laughing at hahahaha.
and finally
5) making someone fall into a display shelf in front of the saleswoman to much embarrassment HAHAHAAHA. what a klutz :p
okay!so u can see, despite losing like $600 due to AGISM OF OUR SOCIETY, it was a pretty good tuesday :)
